Myth 4: I had the vaccine and still got the flu, so how?
Fact: Several flu viruses are circulating all over the world, which is why people may still get infected despite being vaccinated since the vaccine is specific to some strains. However, being vaccinated improves the chance of being getting severe disease.
Myth 5: I am pregnant so can i get the flu vaccine?
Fact: Pregnant women must get the flu vaccine since their immune systems are weaker than usual. The inactivated flu vaccine is secure and safe.
